Hello Everyone,

Welcome back to Term 4! How quickly the time seems to be passing as we're already mid-way... and we have a very busy term ahead.

We have started the swimming program and it is going really well. Each week, students are very eager and keen to go again. There seems to be a smooth transition getting in and out of the water in good time and students are in small ability groups. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all my parent helpers for their help, most appreciated.

In week two, we went to Eastmeadows campus for the Life Education Van incursion. Our focus topic was 'our body matters' and the foundation students acquired a lot of knowledge and skill through hands-on tasks that were fun and informative. They learnt about making good food/drink choices and, what happens inside our bodies and the role of our organs.

We also had the Athletics Carnival; Go Green Go Go Go!!!!!

Once again, this was a new experience for the Foundation students and they were really excited for this event. Also, we had our Science excursion in week 5. We went to Bundoora Park; our Farm visit. Students saw life on the farm; animal needs and their babies.

Looking forward to a great term.

Kind Regards,
Ms Ayfer Karatekeli
